Swan & Co’s website immediately communicates a blend of
luxury and ethics. The brand’s identity is rooted in sustainable, lab-grown diamonds, and the design reflects that balance between high-end craftsmanship and responsible sourcing. The tone feels modern, confident, and purpose-driven.


Visual Design & Layout

  • Clean, minimalist layout: The homepage and category pages use ample white space to frame each piece of jewelry, putting the shine and detail of the diamonds front and center.
  • High-quality imagery: Large, crisp product photos let customers clearly see the facets, settings, and materials, emphasizing transparency and beauty.
  • Elegant typography: The fonts are refined and readable, lending sophistication without feeling overly ornate — striking a balance between premium and accessible.
  • Subtle but meaningful brand cues: Visual elements like gentle gradients, polished buttons, and restrained accent colors evoke a sense of timelessness and trust.


Color Palette
The color scheme is understated and elegant: primarily soft neutrals (whites, off-whites) for the background, paired with muted greys and occasional darker tones for text and UI. This gives the site a clean, classic feel while allowing the diamonds and jewelry pieces to shine.


User Experience (UX)

  • Intuitive navigation: The main menu cleanly breaks down into “Jewelry → Earrings / Necklaces / Rings / Bracelets” and also features curated collections (e.g., “New Arrivals,” “Heiress,” “Essentials”), making it easy for users to explore by category or theme.
  • Transparent brand story: The site includes dedicated pages like “Why Lab Grown Diamonds” and “About the Designer,” helping users understand Swan & Co’s sustainability mission and craftsmanship.
  • Trust and reassurance: Through the site, visitors learn about Swan & Co’s ethical sourcing, their commitment to repair (“all jewelry can be returned for repairs”), and first-class insured shipping.
  • Call to action (CTA): There are clear “Shop Now” buttons, inviting users to dive into collections right away, and social links (Instagram, TikTok) that encourage community engagement.
  • Responsive design: The layout adapts well for mobile and desktop, ensuring that the visual elegance and functionality carry across devices — a must for modern jewelry e-commerce. (This is an inferred best practice for jewelry sites


Custom Buttons and Links

Being able to communicate through images not only leads to better UX-UI results, its easier for the consumer to digest information. Swan and Co. sed my customized buttons to create direct hhyrperlinks to subpages to better communicate with users. Every company or website is different and to have the ability to create custom buttons visually and have the technical powers are what gives my sites a step ahead.
